ComTec.ca Custom Built System Warranty Policy: 

ComTec.ca Custom Built Systems are manufactured with Retail only Intel or AMD Processors, and Asus Motherboards. The warranty period for those components is 3 years. 3 year warranties may also apply to hard drives, monitors, most video cards, and memory.

All new ComTec.ca computers are covered with a 3 year return to depot labour warranty, (hardware failure only - shipping not included). All other components are warranted in accordance with the manufacturers policy.

Touch Multimedia computers have a 3 year limited parts and labour warranty through ComTec.ca

ComTec.ca custom built computers contain absolutely NO used or refurbished components.

ComTec.ca reserves the right to void  the warranty of any computer (s) or computer component (s) it sells or services if any of the following conditions are met;

(1.) Physical damage has occurred due to misuse, being dropped, electrical surge, water, any act of God, or lack of user knowledge.

(2.) The components have been removed or otherwise tampered with by anyone other than a qualified ComTec.ca technician.

(3.) Components have been overclocked or otherwise modified to exceed the performance levels recommended by the manufacturers specifications and original packaging.

(4.) Component failure is due to dust, insufficient cooling, or any improper use of the product.

(5.) Component failure due to modification by flashing, or other update process.

(6.) Component failure due to lack of general maintenance.

ComTec.ca is not responsible for damage to your computer or stored data from the use of any software product whether installed by ComTec.ca or by you, software issues are not covered under any ComTec.ca warranty.

ComTec.ca is not responsible for any expense incurred by you as a result of computer repair or modification, by ComTec.ca or any other repair depot.

On site service does not apply to warranty issues, and may require that you return the unit.

• All components ordered through ComTec.ca - shipped or picked up - will be warranted in accordance with the manufacturers policy.
• ComTec.kca will not ship or act on behalf of either party (customer or manufacturer) regarding warranty or performance issues after the products DOA period of 15 days.
• Items damaged in shipping are not the responsibility of ComTec.ca, customers must claim their damages with the courier company.
