Alberta Recycle
Alberta Electronics Recycling Program
As of Feb. 01/2005 the Alberta Government requires by law all retailers selling TV's, Computers & Monitors to
submit a Recycling Surcharge for each item sold to Alberta customers. Alberta is one of the first Provinces to
implement this program and ComTec will participate in accordance with this regulation.

Saskatchewan Waste Electronic Equipment Program (SWEEP)
As of Feb. 01/2007 all Saskatchewan Invoiced Customers will
have this fee attached to these items.
The Government of Saskatchewan, following the electronics recycling
program in Alberta, also launched its own waste electronic equipment recycling program through the Saskatchewan Waste Electronic
Equipment Program (SWEEP)

British Columbia Environmental Handling Fee (EHF)
The Government of British Columbia has issued an amendment to
Recycling Regulations.
British Columbia will be starting a recycling program on Aug 1, 2007 and charging Environmental Handling Fee (EHF) on
regulated products.

Nova Scotia Recycle
As of Feb. 01/2008 all Nova Scotia Invoiced Customers will
have this fee attached to these items.
The Government of Nova Scotia has issued an amendment to Recycling
Regulations.
Nova Scotia has initiated a recycling program on February 1, 2008 and is charging Environmental Handling Fee (EHF) on regulated
products.
